Negative thoughts fueled by fear, self-doubt, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, or long-standing limiting beliefs can cloud our minds. This self-criticism reinforces negative perceptions about ourselves and our situations.


The empowering truth is we hold the power to counter this damaging self-talk by incorporating positive affirmations into our daily routines intentionally. After a meaningful conversation with my therapist, I've made the decision to embrace this practice in my life starting today, and I invite you to join me on this journey.

Creating Affirmations Requires Vulnerability


When you gaze into the mirror, what do you see reflected back at you?


When I confront my reflection, I see a woman grappling with insecurities about her weight and feeling overwhelmed by depression. A past experience of sexual assault has deeply impacted me in unforeseen ways, contributing to a decline in my self-esteem.


To craft affirmations that resonate with your aspirations, it's essential to embrace vulnerability and confront past challenges and insecurities. By acknowledging and addressing what you may have avoided in the past, you can create affirmations that speak to your desired growth and positive transformation. Get Your Affirmations Out Your Head and On Paper + Practice Regularly

With the support of my therapist, I've chosen to repeat specific affirmations displayed on sticky notes on my bathroom mirror every morning and whenever I'm in the bathroom. I wanted to share this with you because I found it challenging to create my own affirmations, and I believe it could benefit others.
